Link successfully teed off a new era for Hong Kong’s oldest professional sporting event as a title sponsor of the Link Hong Kong Open.

The Link Hong Kong Open, one of the city’s most iconic sporting events, brought together the world’s top golf players and drew thousands of international visitors to Hong Kong.

In 2025, we proudly enter the second year of our partnership with this prestigious tournament, welcoming elite golfers such as defending champion Patrick Reed, two-time Hong Kong Open winner Wade Ormsby, and hometown favourite Taichi Kho.

This year’s event is especially meaningful as it coincides with Link’s 20th anniversary and builds momentum for the 15th National Games, where Hong Kong hosts the golf competition — a milestone that underscores the city’s readiness to welcome top-tier athletes and global audiences.

Celebrating Hong Kong's Districts on the Golf Course

The 18 holes of the Hong Kong Open’s renowned composite course named after the 18 districts of Hong Kong for the first time to capture the imagination of the wider public and reflected the aim of making the sport of golf more accessible to local communities in the city.

This event invited people from all walks of life to sample golf swings and be introduced to the sport.
